The RE200 Infant Respiration monitor provides a reliable and accurate system for neonatal respiration monitoring,
using micro-electronic techniques to analyse the breathing waveform. It is housed in a strong, durable plastic case using a single battery. For each breath sensed there is an LED light indication and an audible ‘click’. After a lapse of up to 20 seconds without breaths, a loud pulsating audible alarm and red LED light is given. This summons immediate assistance and resuscitation. If breathing recommences, a memory LED light indicates an apnoeic event. Facilities exist to turn off the click’ function and alter the alarm delay period to 10 or 15 seconds. A mains power option is available
