E-Max Handle
IntuBrite has completely redesigned the laryngoscope
handle in order to deliver a better lift angle, a more positive
gripping surface, a more reliable power cell, and a precision
driving circuit for the dual-LED blade set-up. Constructed
of solid aluminum and offering a robust, click-in, steel connecting
head, the new handle has been receiving rave reviews for comfort
and performance from early users.
E-Flex Handle
The E-flex handle was ergonomically designed with pediatric
patients in mind. The e-flex offers a slightly shorter handle
with deeper finger grips. The gentle arc in the handle provides
a perfect angle for proper technique and mandible lift. The
top thumb groove allows for a lighter grip and greater control
while attending to small infants and children. Although originally
designed as a pediatric handle, we have found that many practitioners
in our trial studies like the control they feel and leverage
attained with the e-flex handle while attending to children
and adults.
E-Classic Handle
During the process of development and field trials,
a few anesthesiologists and seasoned paramedics alike requested
the option of a "straight" handle; The E-Classic
is IntuBrite's version. The E-Classic handle retains our signature
"pistol" finger grips and adds a subtler angle for
an ergonomic mandible lift in a more familiar design. Like
all of IntuBrite's innovative handles the e-classic is CNC
Machine tooled from a solid piece of block aluminum and the
blade clicks onto a stainless steel bar mount providing a
stable and secure fit for the blade.
Blades
IntuBrite™ manufactures its uniquely designed
laryngoscope blades from surgical-grade, stainless steel.
These are custom-fitted with a pair of proprietary, UV and
White LED bulbs (blacklight and whitelight), with wavelengths
specifically “tuned” to deliver precisely the
correct illumination which provides their unique anatomy-differentiating
and almost glareless view.
Specially molded medical-grade plastic has been bonded to
the surgical stainless material to form the “snap-in”
base which locks each blade to the laryngoscope handle prior
to use and provides power transition from the handle to the
lights in the blade. IntuBrite's blades have been tested to
55lbs. of pressure which exceeds regulations and is far superior
to any other disposableor reposable (limited life reusable)
on the market today.
IntuBrite manufactures a selection of 10 of the most popular
sizes and styles of laryngoscope blades:
• MacIntosh 1, 2, 3 and 4
• Miller 00, 0,1 ,2, 3, 4
Various combinations of these types and sizes may be provided
to EMS and ER/OR professionals depending upon their departmental
and/or personal clinical preferences. |
