The
Directors of STAT-Tiakeni Medical (PTY) Ltd take pleasure in announcing
the launch of a unique Community Service Project: introducing the
STAT MEDICAL RESPONSE VEHICLE
In conjunction with MMC (Pty) Ltd, Event Medical
Specialists, we have acquired and equipped a BMW 320d, as an Advanced
Life Support Medical Response Vehicle to serve communities in the
greater Gauteng region.
The vehicle will be manned by Derek Jones, registered
Emergency Care Practioner (B.Tech EMC), and will be available to
assist all EMS services, Private and Provincial, when necessary.
At certain scheduled times, students from Local Authority and Provincial
Medical Training Academies will be able to ‘Ride Along’
to gain valuable practical experience on the road. This opportunity
will also be offered to students from Private Academies should we
receive such requests, time and space permitting.
It should be noted that this service is purely
a Community Service initiative; no financial gain will be derived
from its operations. We are not offering a 24/7 service, but will
make the service available whenever possible and practical. Calls
will be generated by EMS services only; the general public will
not be able to activate the service.
